Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. Lao TzLast year we distributed ration to 30 villages, This year most of the farmers refused to take ration they said we have stored some and govt is providing basic so we don’t need it now but what we need is and which is very important for us is water before monsoon so we can concentrate on farming , Medical care facilities immediately and other sustainable business work so if anything goes wrong atleast we can depend on the other business. It’s always a learning for me from my farmers and I know n understand how important it is to secure yourself financially for every situation. How to find cure for the roots for them to grow beautifully. Poverty , pandemic is big crisis and opportunity too, people who have gone back to villages, if we can create some employment for them there , than most probably they will not turn back to cities again. I am doing my bit with all possible source to look for employment for them , look for market for their home made products. Try and find right kind of startup’s for the younger generation there. As @nabhanganfoundation we are constantly trying to find sustainable solutions but I know it’s not easy but not difficult too if we have every hand working only on solution based work ... not just temporary banded. We need your support your ideas ..Please write to us on Nabhanganfoundation5@gmail.com and let’s discuss together how we can make our villages flourish ✊❤️@nabhanganfoundation #Rethinkvillages @yuvraj_m.l_nivangune @sagar.thube.90 @deepak.more.589 #farmers #sustainablesolutions ... Last year more than 500 Trees team @nabhanganfoundation planted in few of our Marathwada villages , we nurtured and saved many of them and they are growing beautifully infront of our farmers house. These two tree pictures belongs to two amazing soul @bajpayee.manoj and #Vandana Kataria . We will get more current pictures soon and try and send them across ❤️Honestly there are few we couldn’t save because of various reasons , water is one and some trees which we had planted infront of our sugar cutting labourers areas are not there because they had to migrate to another village now and due to Covid protocol we couldn’t timely care for them.. Apologies for that 🙏 But we will plant more once the monsoon hits villages .. We will keep planting and keep working on making our villages green . Thank you @suryab for helping us help plant so many trees in villages 🙏All Credit of saving and nurturing trees goes to the local farmers , our warrior @sagar.thube.90 and his friends team from Pokhri village , Marathwada. #trees @nabhanganfoundation @rajshri__deshpande ... #PravinAswale This hardworking young designer from Aurangabad have executed our pandhari village school main door , Washbasin and painted major walls in our Pandhari village school which you saw in my previous post. His late father was a Postman in Aurangabad and he is a youngest in 6 siblings raised by his mother. He loves to Dance and promised me to teach moves to our School kids too .. He shared a picture where the design had element of Mahatma Gandhi’s Charkha and said it just happened while placing everything. I told him there is so much goodness is in your heart Pravin that’s what is coming out. Pravin thank you again for being part of this .. Why spend so much for a village school that to a Marathi ( Regional ) language school ? Once a donor mentioned this to me .. Ofcourse he didn’t paid a single penny but I was afraid to know his thinking.. I was scared to see that how he is differentiating between Village kids and Urban kids .. Education is key .. Play ground , Art , Craft , Science have to be there .. I might introduce digital part little late this year because it takes time to understand technology to urban or rural areas specially to kids.. I am still figuring out the technology.. I still go lost in this techno world ... But I feel and want kids not to have gadgets at early age. I want to teach them to love their soil our tress our sky .. I want to teach them to look at the painting of Astronaut or Dolphins or Nurse or police officer and explore.. I want them to swing and sing .. I want them to learn about recycling.. I want them learn about Community togetherness.. I don’t want them to have a pressure of being perfect .. I just want them to be human who understands love and care .. Thank you Sangram S. @ Pravin Madhura Joshi @shubham and Deepak More for these beautiful paintings in our Pandhari village school ❤️❤️ ... See MoreSee Less

I was looking for some new year goodies for my dear friends and then I realised why not send our Marathwada village based Chutneys .. We recently started a Women community centre in Pokhri village so 10 women are already learning how to sew there .. I spoke to my @nabhanganfoundation warrior @sagar.thube.90 who handles our village work wether we can make something.. He quickly checked with the women who were first reluctant and said who will like it ? I told them I love my marathwadi chutneys and I am sure all my friends will too ... Today after sending 250 packets almost 500 bottles of Flaxseed, Groundnut , Sesame and Lemon pickle people are calling me for orders .. which unfortunately i can’t take immediately till the time we don’t work on proper logistics ( which we will work soon and share on social media about from where to buy these products) ... My aim is to give them the confidence and empower them to start a small scale unit .. My aim is make our women farmers realise that they can have parallel business along with Farming to sustain themselves with darker times ... My aim is to make them happy which all my friends already did by posting there love .. Thank you so so much to all my dear friends who expressed their love for these nutritious and tasty Marathwada style Chutneys. The main ingredient in all these chutney is LOVE and KINDNESS 🌼🌳❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Please keep supporting @nabhanganfoundation so we can help many villages Thank you @plantpeople.in for this lovely photo ❤️📸 RethinkVillages #Communitycenter #womenfarmers #smallscalebusiness #hardwork #planforsolutions ... Now pokhri village will have it’s tailoring centre for 8 women’s to start stitching clothes . Chaitali is a tailor from Pokhri who knows tailoring work. Now she will teach more ladies from Pokhri. Same village where we planted trees, distributed ration , worked for health Center, education kits and sports shoes for kids. It is always important to take sustainable & impactful solutions. I am glad team @nabhanganfoundation always work towards that. This tailoring center will be able to generate work & income. It will inspire many women’s to start learning & be part of it. It’s a small step to make them self sufficient with income source. Can’t thank enough to @ruhihaq @hopeblit for connecting us to @iwcbw #Rupaparekh who provided these Silai Machine. @sagar.thube.90 and My pokhri village warrior team has really worked hard to make this it successful. They went to each and every house to found out the one who is interested, wants to learn and need it. Hope every village have community Center where they will learn , explore and support their families during non farming days. Rest in peace Tanveer🙏❤️ Dear Oindrilla thank you for sharing such a heartwarming post. Thank you for your dedication in the name of Tanveer , We are glad to plant a tree on a such brave ones name. #repost Receiving this photo made my day. Tanveer and I briefly worked together at an ad firm at the beginning of my career. I switched jobs and cities but we stayed in touch. He was like an elder brother and a caring senior always. On September 28th, I woke up to the news of his death. All of us were shocked and still are.Call it serendipity or coincidence, 2 days later I came across your post on Instagram on Ravi dada and how Nabhangan Foundation had a planted a tree to keep his legacy alive. I am so happy that you have planted a Nilgiri tree in his name. Nilgiri trees heal, just like Tanveer who had touched and healed a lot of lives including mine. I desire for every child to be able to learn, read and write, to etch their dreams and fortresses that touch the skies. I desire for them to feel, as they learn, the crisp of the paper, the smell of old warmth tucked in them and the zing of the pen frolicking on the whites of the sheets. I desire not for our children to be zapped in the world of cellphones and Ipads, their cables though working to source information upon a single click, but ironically shackling us in their snares and wires and confining our path to not look beyond, for knowledge and wisdom. As we rejoice in the glorious festival of Dusherra, we are immensely grateful to @aromamagicindia @samantha_kochhar for being ever kind and gifting our kids with crimson backpacks and @dnyaneshzoting and his amazing friends for bestowing them with books and stationaries for six of our villages. The trees are named after so many people .. Many loved ones.. Mentors.. Covid warriors..Pet children..Behind each tree, there are so many stories .. But each tree has given life to that soil .. employment to some one in a quaint little village ..Now we are planting trees in the name of villagers too. We started planting in the name of medical health Center of pokhri village. And best part is the one you see in the picture has planted their own tree. They were very happy to see their nameplate ❤️Thank you for the support. Apart from planting your own tree whatever extra money your are contributing we are able to use that and plant moreIn the name of our village locals .. Hundred percent of the money raised from the purchase of this book will go towards @nabhanganfoundation, an organisation working in villages across Maharashtra for many years now run by my dearest @rajshri_deshpande The money will be used for completing the school being built in Pandhari village, for the farmers and local artists. We live in such bleak falling times, chaotic in our own collusions and annihilations. Then, to hold the wreckage of our falling hearts, we need immaculate souls. And as if, the clemency of the heavens upon man, we have our four legged children. We look into their solemn eyes, we are whole again. We have been witness to the love, many of our friends have for their fur children, far beyond space, time and comprehension. Trees which gave happiness to many has given economical support to some of our farmers. During this tough time of Covid many are jobless and it’s very difficult to find opportunities to work also. Dattu Jadhav one of our hardworking warrior of Nabhangan , who made Mesh for our trees is a BCom degree holder but due to no job opportunities and no farmland he was working with his brother as a daily wage labourer... Now after making Mesh for our 500 trees whatever he earned through that he repaired his bike and selling khari and biscuits village to village. Not only that he makes people smile ❤️ He found his earning resources and we are very very proud of him. Till now we planted 500 trees .. Some of them has been dedicated to our contributors, some to their children and their loved ones. Some we dedicated to our mentors , Covid warriors. There is story everywhere.. Even in our tree journey too. These stories inspire us and keep us going .. Hope we empower many villagers to find balance in their life #RethinkVillages #empowervillage #farmers #Dailywagelabourers #nabhanganfoundation #treeplantation🌱 @dattu.jadhav.5477 @sagar.thube.90 @nabhanganfoundation ... A dauntless journalist breathes and gifts the society, with the spirit of free speech and expression, paving the way for the ideal of fiercely standing by and succouring the meek, one of the most inalienable, unimpeachable and inextricable facets of democracy, a hopeful rebellion for a socialist world. And therefore, such are analogies to trees, that do just that, offering to the world something beyond themselves. They bless us with air, fruits and refuge, gifting a freely liveable and unfettered world for our generations to come. We have planted a tree in the name of Barkha Dutt as an ode to her unbiased, doughty and selfless contribution in the field of journalism.
